Matt Comiskey, ChFC
Financial Advisor
A child of military parents, Matt grew up all over the U.S. and in Germany. After earning a BS at UNC, he entered the insurance and investment field and has carried his Chartered Financial Consultant designation for nearly 20 years.
Matt enjoys helping people, in his personal and work life, volunteering at church or being a Big Brother to a child who needs a mentor and friend. His greatest passion in his profession is seeing a plan come together that benefits his clients during the accumulation, investing and disposition of their monies.
Along with his industry experience, Matt gives each client focused attention, listening well, taking good notes and providing reasonable solutions in a timely manner. He routinely provides reviews, either two to three times a year, or as clients desire. He credits communication, follow-through and staying in touch as key factors in his success as an advisor.
One of Matt’s areas of focus is working with Colorado State employees, walking them through the retirement process (PERA) and helping them get the most benefit for their service years. In addition, he undertakes as much full planning work as the client wishes so each understands and can meet retirement goals.
He spends his free time visiting with his siblings, taking part in activities with his nieces and nephews, or running, hiking or getting outside with his dog, Tank. Matt takes delight in being an uncle – and even a great uncle – taking frequent trips to see nieces and nephews.
