As a founding member of Agora Wealth Management, I am driven to emphasize client-focus. Since joining the industry in early 1980, my efforts have been squarely placed on my client's side of the table irrespective of their economic, social, or political circumstance. The outcomes are the most optimal when the client's goals drive the strategy to meet their objectives. Whatever the desired result, the energy applied is tempered with an appropriate perspective to achieve success.
To obtain these results, it's necessary to be understanding of the client's unique perspective, and to actively listen to their expressed concerns. By actively working to understand the client's hopes, dreams, and concerns, we can most ably build an individual strategy that will take them where they want to go. By consistent contact, we can assist them in refining the process and adjusting to the inevitable change that occurs. We emphasize integrity and comprehensive service in all aspects of the practice, so we typically age with our clientele, resulting in multi-generational relationships.
I believe in lifelong learning and I am a student of topical items with a historical perspective. As cycles tend to repeat, we can and do put those lessons to work in evaluating and side-stepping risk, and viewing those items as tools used to our collective advantage. While I enjoy the intellectual challenge of this activity, I am much more rewarded by the satisfaction of my clients and friends with the results. I believe in the power of planning to improve outcomes in every aspect of life, and I am proud to be a part of each client's success.
I have served on advisory councils and boards in my own field, as well as in civically-related activities. I have achieved industry expertise through programs of several accredited institutions, including the American College ChFC program and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary program.
Being from the Midwest and having served in the Air Force, I come from relatively traditional and conservative roots; I'm proud to call Colorado Springs my home. It is where my wife of 34 years and I raised our children. My sons are Anson, Brit, Kyle, and Zach. We have 12 grand-children and are once again very much enjoying going to youth sports. My wife, Lorie, and I love traveling and spending time with our friends, neighbors, and growing family.
